It all started with three guys from the province of Pisa , who grew up on the Monti Pisani, always out and about , hiking, biking and doing all sorts of outdoor activities . Then the pandemic arrived and the need for fresh air became even more pressing.

One of us also got a dog, Leon , and so, between online lessons and exams , we always found time to enjoy the wonder of the mountains just a stone's throw from home, with the sea on the horizon. All those hours sitting in front of the computer transformed our passion for occasional Pilates into a real therapy for the back . Each session became a moment to find a bit of balance and recharge our batteries.

Once the pandemic was over, those outdoor workouts remained part of our routine, always with Leon by our side. We trained everywhere, on the lawns, in the woods or on a terrace overlooking the sea. But there was a problem: the uneven surfaces . Rocks, roots or too rough terrain often punctured the mat , and the traditional ones never lasted long enough.

At that point we said to ourselves: “Why don’t we create a more resistant Pilates and yoga mat that is also beautiful to use?”

We got to work, brainstorming and trying to combine resistance and comfort . The solution came almost naturally to us: a solid rubber base to provide stability and protection everywhere, combined with a natural cork surface , soft to the touch and capable of transmitting that feeling of connection with nature, just like the places that had inspired us up to that point.

The result? A mat designed for those who love to move freely, everywhere.
